What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Fever When Suffering From Diabetes?
My father is a 72 year old diabetic, with high blood pressure. He is complaining of feeling bloated, feverish and weak off and on for a week. He has checked blood sugar levels and blood pressure and they are in normal range for him. What do you suggest?

Hi,
He might be feeling bloating due to diabetic gastroparesis that is one of the complications of diabetes. Using motilly agents like Domperidone or Itapride before meals can be helpful. Using antacids like Omerperazole before meals can also be used along. Meanwhile tight sugar and blood pressure control should be ensured.
