What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Gastritis During Nights?

For the past month I have had issues with bloating and excess gas every night. I don t eat heavy meals . Also, I am regular every a.m. after my coffee, but it has been very loose and not like it had been. I am feeling uncomfortable after eating. I do take care of myself. I currently take probiotics as well as vitamins. Can you advise please. Thank you.

Hi,

Some of your symptoms correlate with underlying irritable bowel syndrome or IBS but objective or pathological causes should be ruled out. Stool analysis, gastric endoscopy may be needed. Meanwhile OTC antacids or antacid like omerperazole before meals alongside motility agents like domperidone or itapride before meals can be helpful.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
