Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal bloating and heartburn which seems to be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease, gas pains, ulcerative colitis and could be due to irritable bowel syndrome.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Avoid intake of large meals at a time and take small and frequent meals.

- Eat light , avoid non spicy and heavy food and eat fibrous diet.

- Keep drinking warm water throughout the day .

consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order ultrasound , stool test and endoscopy. Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , laxative , antibiotics like ornidazole and albendazole.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here it seems you have viral gastritis with acid reflux...

So for that omeprazole capsule prescribed for two weeks

Avoid excess spicy foods...

Heavy fatty meal restricted...

Head elevated while sleeping

Excess tea, coffee and smoking avoided

Cooked oatmeal help in soothing

Fruits taken more and small meals preferred

If your condition not improving than yes further work up with USG or endoscopy might needed and before that if needed antibiotic course prescribed

Consult physician for examination
