What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Pain Despite Taking Plan B After Unsafe Sex?

HI, so I had sex and was on birthcontrol (tri-cyclen lo) for seven days and on the eighth day I had sex but our condom broke within 24-25 hours I took a plan b pill and I took a pregnancy test the day after that which came out negative am I in the clear? I ve also had slight bloating and a little bit of abdominal pain but haven t had the abdominal pain for about a day Now but bloating is going down are these just side effects and what s my chance of being pregnant?

A woman with regular cycles (once ever 30 days, for instance) usually ovulate between the 10 to the 19fhe day. Having unprotected intercourse in this period increases your chances of conceiving (especially around 3days before and the day of ovulation)..

The plan bpillai75@gmail.com, along with the birth Control pills taken by you will effectively prevent pregnancy (95%). If your cycles are regular and fit within the time frame mentioned above, the chances of pregnancy are minimal, if not absent.

Abdominal bloating and associated mild cramps may be side-effects of the pill.
No cause for concern if it goes away and doesn't worsen.
Please note that home pregnancy tests are reliable (turn positive) only after the date of the missed period (regular cycles). It may turn positive upto a week after the missed period.
