What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Vaginal Pain After Intercourse?

Hi there, I m 22, About a month and a half ago I came off the contraceptive pill. I have been sexually active with my boyfriend, recently for about 1 week I have had a bloated stomach, been very gassy, gained weight and today I have been experiencing aching pains in my vagina when I move. I have taken a pregnancy test and it has come out nagative. Do you know what this could possibly be related to? Thank you!

Hi, I think it can be due to some vaginal infections. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out infection. Bloated stomach can be due to gastritis or irregular eating habits. You can take some antacids like pantoprazole empty stomach. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat infection. Hope it helps.
