Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Abdominal Bloating, Dizziness And Dry Heaving?
I am a 65-year old female with diabetes, fatty liver, gallbladder disease, gastroperisis, and a cancer survivor. I am experiencing bloating up to breast plate, dizziness, vomiting and dry heaving, and extremely tired. Should I go to the hospital? My blood sugar is 137, and am eating.
Since you are having gastroparesis, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more in your case. It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this, the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause chest pain, bloating, vomiting, etc. So better to follow these steps.
1. Take Pantoprazole and Levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice daily.
2. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
3. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
4. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits. Go for walking after meals.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. But if you don't improve then consult your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
