What Causes Abdominal Bloating In An Infant?

Hi, This is Nazmul writing from Bangladesh, I am asking for my 1.5 months old baby boy. I observed his stomach is full of gas and during passing of stool and urine he seems to put lot of effort. After it is over he is normal. After visiting the nearest doctor, he has prescribed Simethicon paediatric drop (67mg/ml) for removing stomach gas for 14 days. But I observed no improvement. He also cry for whole night but if we keep him in my lap he feels better. One of my neighbor suggest me to give him Enterogermina oral suspension. Your suggestion required regarding stomach gas, stool and urine problem.

I have evaluated your concern in depth .

@ Abdominal bloating is due to indigestion .
Have to continue carminative drops , enterogermina suspension .
Most important is burping for 30 minutes after breast feeding I
think which is not done presently .

@ Urinary discomfort needs physical check up to evaluate the status
of foreskin ( there may be phimosis which obstructs the urine flow )
