What Causes Abdominal Bloating Post Hysterectomy Procedure?

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 2 months ago today. The past three days my swollen belly has returned. It is very rigid and uncomfortable. I have been taking gas/blotting OTC. Is this normal ? I have also gained almost 5 lbs in 3 days. I am not constipated, the opposite in fact

Sometimes bloating may occur because of prolonged rest and antibiotics use.You can take simethicone along with antacids. If you develop other symptoms like severe abdominal pain, rigidity, vomiting etc then consult your doctor immediately.
