my 24 year old daughter keeps having bloating feeling in her stomach after she eats...and it makes rumbling noises....she has watched what she eats to see if anything could be triggering it, but no matter what she eats it still does it. she feels bloated and has been taking a probiotic for a few weeks, nothing has changed. What could be causing this
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. In her age this may be related to irrizable bowel syndrome and usually this is related to emotional stress or diet. Less common , this could be sign of food allergy or coeliac. I suggest to have easier diet, boiled food, eat smaller meals but more frequently, avoid fried and spicy food, take menta tea, avoid alcohol and coffee, eat probiotics and milk products. Also, there are medications such as Flobian,Magnesium oxide or certain Laxatives which may relieve such symptoms of this continue.
If there wont be improvement then she should do do gastroenterologic work up and food allergy testing.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
