What Causes Abdominal Cramp, Frequent Urination And Bloating?

I do have a history of uti, however, the last time I had a urine test because I thought I had a uti, the doctor told me there was not evidence of UTI. At that time and similar to my symptoms now, I have cramp pains in abdomen, frequent need to urinate, blotted stomach and discomfort. My urine might be considered slightly foggy. Today, I was ready to go the to doctor s office, however, I thought I was feeling better so i did not go. I have been drinking only water for several days. It started 4 days ago. Can you help?

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

If there is stomach cramps, extreme bloating and discomfort since 4 days could be related to dyspepsia, constipation or acute gastritis but it needs further evaluation by clinical examination and various tests to have confirmed diagnosis.

Your doctor has ruled out the possibility of UTI and which is also very unlikely here in your case.

If your symptoms are not so troublesome then I can suggest you some medications and dietary precautions to get relieved from stomach bloating with cramps.

Take Proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole 40 or rabeprazole 20) twice daily and take yrup digene 2 TSF three times a day if there is acidity.

All above drugs are available as OTC drugs.

Avoid hot, oily and spicy foods rather take bland diet for initial 2 to 3 days and continue to take plenty of water.

Avoid eating full stomach one at a time rather take small and frequent meals.Have soft diet only for next 2 to 3 days

I expect you to get better within 3 to 5 days but if your problem persists for a longer time ,then i will advise you to see physician or gastro physician who can order various tests (below mentioned) and can come to a particular diagnosis and start the treatment.

1) routine blood investigations,
2) liver function tests,
3) urine and stool examination for R/M and ova
4) ultrasound of abdomen.

Hope this will help you to get better and if any query then you can ask me.

Regards,
I find this answer helpful
