Hi there, I am on holiday in Thailand and last night/today have experienced what I m guessing to be food poisoning. It began with abdominal cramping, followed by nausea and violent vomiting. I then went through cycles of sleeping and then waking up to vomiting/diarrhoea for a few hours. It s now been roughly 12 hours and I have managed not to have vomiting or diarrhoea for around 3 hours now, but I now have a terrible headache, am sensitive to light, my head is spinning, which is causing me to feel nauseous and my entire body is very achy and weak. I have had food poisoning many times before, so am not too concerned. I have been sipping water and Coca Cola and have managed to keep some cereal down too. My only concern is that, yesterday I went swimming in the ocean and cut my toe fairly deeply causing a small cut and blood to seep out. At the time I was on an island without a first aid kit and unable to wash the cut, but by the time I got home it seemed to have already scabbed over, so I took a usual shower, washed the area as normal and left it be. I just wanted to check it this additional factor, in tandem with the usual food poisoning symptoms should be of any concern? Thanks very much, S
