What Causes Abdominal Cramps Along With Heavy Vaginal Bleeding?

Hi. My period ended 8 days ago. It was a day or 2 shorter than normal, but still 4 days long and was also light, but I don t normally bleed heavy. Last night I started having bad cramps and this afternoon I still have cramps and even hurts while I m walking sometimes. Also bleeding lightly, but is very dark. I haven t had sex since my last period so I know I m not pregnant. Should I just wait this out??

Hello,

You may be suffering from dysfunctional uterine bleeding or endometriosis or PID or side effects to oral contraceptives etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet Tranexamic Acid with Mefenamic Acid. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
