What Causes Abdominal Cramps Along With Nausea And Fatigue?

I am a 20 year old female and possibly pregnant. There was no protection at the assumed contraception time, and I had stopped taking my birth control about a month earlier because me and my boyfriend were planning on having a baby. I believe the date of the contraception was November 28, which was also the day I was ovulating. I ve taken a pregnancy test and had a blood pregnancy test done today, and they were both negative but it could be too early to register the hormone. I ve been having cramps, nausea, fatigue, and my appetite has decreased. I had spotting earlier today that was very light pink until a few hours ago it was red and more blood then just spotting, but it has stopped now. I still have cramps and I m not sure if I should be seen because of the blood

Hi,

Spotting should not occur in pregnancy. However, it's not necessary that you must have a pregnancy without contraception as both of your tests are negative so that's quite possible that you might have not pregnancy and the spotting may be normal.

I would suggest, you should repeat the test in a few days if you don't get the cycle.

If it's already late by more then a week then you should see your doctor for the spotting as if there is pregnancy, as it's not normal in pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
