What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea When Suffering From Ulcerative Colitis?

I have a history of ulcerative colitis, but I have been on Humira for about 7 years (participated in its study for 2-3 years) and my colitis has been in remission for about 7 or 8 years. We moved to FL almost year ago. My wife carried the insurance, but quit her job for the move, so we had none. We did not pay COBRA because of the huge expense. I applied and qualified and received Humira through a foundation, but there were weeks of delays getting approved and the shots. Anyway, about six weeks ago, several family members, including myself got a bug and diarrhea. It went away, then came back --and for them, too. It was like we were passing it back and forth. Well, now, I m continually experiencing cramps, diarrhea, AND lye sores on my tongue. We also have no insurance (did for awhile, but wife quit job). I m thinking it s bacterial or my Humira stopped working. Would going to doc to get antibiotics be smart move?
