What Causes Abdominal Cramps While On Oralcon Pills?

Good Morning Dr, i am on oralcon contraceptive, however i have been very negligent and have not been taking it on time and skipping one day, then taking 2 the next day. i have now finished my month and have started on the new pack. i am now on my third white pill and still no period. i do have slight cramps though. what can this be? Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It might happen that you might not bleed when you finish one pack of oral contraceptives but this is rare and to make sure you are not pregnant please have a pregnancy test. Because you mention you have missed days taking it, might be valuable to have the test to rule out pregnancy. If pregnancy test is negative please repeat it in 2-3 days and if negative again than very likely you are not pregnant. If cramps last longer than a week or they get any worse you will need to see your doctor to find out the cause of them.
