What Causes Abdominal Discomfort After A Colonoscopy?

thanks. i had a colonoscopy on thursday, and now my lower right abdomen is very uncomfortable, and i ve not had a bowel movement since the prep for the test. 9 polyps were removed. should i still feel discomfort, and is this lack of a bowel movement for 3 days a concern?

You are right it is just a paresis of gut due to instrumentation ......you will get relief in 2-3 days
