What Causes Abdominal Distention And Swelling In The Feet?

My father passed away from Colon cancer from Metastatic Liver cancer which started in his Colon. My daughter passed away from complications of an ulcer with constant use of Motrin which lead to her to the thinning of part of the lining of her intestines which opened up and seeped the waste into her system un-diagnosed for almost 1 year til exploratory surgery was performed by then it was too late. Her organs started shutting down and She passed away shortly after the surgery. My Concern is I am having issues with my stomach and liver and bowel. My belly looks at times like I m 6 months pregnant. My feet also swell. I take care of my mother and husband who both suffer from the disease of stroke which left them with Flacid opposites sides and needing 24 hour care. I stopped working secularly to take care of them but have found that my inactivity, walking, dancing etc has aided me in gaining 50+ pounds. I am starting to take milk thistle and flax seed oil gel pills in hopes this may help with digestion. I took on a part time job which I end up sitting behind a computer for 4+ hours at night. Sometimes I get what looks like red blood vessels that break in my eye. Is this related to issues with my liver and what can I do without having to undergo any major hospital stays etc to get rid of what ever I have? Thank you, Anna
