What Causes Abdominal Distention And Vomiting After A Gastric Bypass?
I got a friend that had gastric bypass 15-16 yrs ago...she has been sick for a long time...low iron, low potassium, low magnesium, can t eat anything & keep down...stomach distended, no weight loss, now running fever & vomiting or coughing up blood..., was in hospital 2 1/2 weeks ago, they pump her full to raise levels & cycle starts over...no one is looking for cause at all just putting bandaid on symptoms..,
Gastritis or anaemia or other intraabdominal pathology may present like this. Please get it done ultrasound abdomen and upper GI endoscopy.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Take iron supplements for anaemia. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
