Hello Abdominal distension is due to hepatomegaly and spleenomegaly in your case.The basic treatment will start with confirmation of underlying cause.For that you can wait till you meet hepatologist for it. However,organomegaly and jaundice can cause symptoms like abdominal pain,nausea,vomiting,blood in vomitus or stools. You have to keep an eye on these symptoms and report immediately if they occur. Meanwhile you can take following measures -Avoid alcohol -Avoid spicy,fried and high fat content food as it may put more load on liver.Take multiple servings of vegetables ,fruits and low fat dairy. Can have small frequent meals. -Have plenty intake of water -If nausea vomiting present,can have combination of antacid and anti emetic like ranitidine domperidone. -Have adequate rest. Thanks
