What Causes Abdominal Gas, Acidity, Severe Headache And Bowel Sounds?

Hi, I am 69 year old woman and I have been having gas, acidity and due to all this severe headache and popping sounds in the stomach. I tested negative for celiac, gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance. But all negative. I do not have diabetes or blood pressure. I eat healthy homemade food which is very mild. Please help as I am unable to concentrate in my daily life. Thanks!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have reflux, this would cause the acid burning and gas.

The excess use of gas producing foods may also help eg broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, beans, turnips, brussel sprouts, carbonated drinks, prunes
A food diary may help to establish the link between particular foods and your symptoms.

The use of reflux medication may also help. This includes medications such as nexium, prilosec, prevacid, protonix

I hope this helps
