Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
You have a history of a back surgery and the pain in abdomen started 6 months after surgery.
Your search on internet may mislead you and increase your tensions and stress. So first of all stop searching on internet.
I would advise you to visit the Operating surgeon,/ Neurosurgeon first , go for MRI of the spine and operated area to seee whether you havve prolapsed discs or so.
If this is so you may need another corrective surgery to remove pressure on the nerves.
IF the MRI is normal then obviously local causes have to be searched with the help of your
General Surgeon, investigations should be planned after a physical examination, which may be in the form
ultrasonography, blood, urine and stool tests.
Tendinitis in diaphragm is such a rare disease , it is for the sake of mentioning only.
'Attacks '' can be due to
biliary colic and the best investigation is HIDA scan / MRCP and if required MRCP.
Consult a Gastroenterologist.
