What Causes Abdominal Pain After Delayed Periods?

Hi, I have missed my last menstrual period and am 17 days late. I have however had much trouble conceiving and do not think pregnancy is the case. I have been experiencing some lower abdominal cramping on and off. My hands and feet have also been feeling quite swollen lately. My thirst has significantly increased and I am drinking a lot more water than usual. I do not seem to be urinating anywhere near the volume of fluids that I am I taking. I have trouble elimating stool now, for the past few weeks mostly. I have neck and shoulder pain (feels like nerve pain) and am frequently experiencing numbness and/or tingling in my hands and arms. I find my vision to difficult to focus at times and some sensitivity to light that seems to dissipating somewhat. I have had weight gain but that was to be expected as my appetite is much healthier than what it used to be for a long time. I exercise 3-6 days per week (cardio and weights). I have quite good muscle tone in most of my lower and upper body but not my core. My abdominal region seems to be mostly bloated or swollen (or just weight?) and my face is beginning to look much fuller (not that I am complaining much as it has ironed out any wrinkles I have developed!). My hair has never been great but recently it has become very weak, dry and brittle). I usually receive the recommended time of uv exposure, eat quite healthily (with no crazy restrictions). I sleep quite well now after years of trouble with insomnia but lately have been very fatigued and do not feel well rested after a nights sleep.

Hi

Dieting,Severe exercise, excess weight loss and sometimes long travel , Nutritional deficiencies can cause absent or delayed periods. Antispasmodics can be taken for the abdominal pain.

Your symptoms are suggestive of salt and water retention.Kindly check your blood pressure ,blood sugar and renal function test for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
