What Causes Abdominal Pain After Undergoing LEEP Procedure?

Im 27, weigh 230LBs, 5'6 and only hx of Depression and IBS. I had a LEEP procedure done 2 yrs ago and had pain afterwards which was expected. But I still get that same pain every 6 months or so. It feels like a pinching and tugging feeling. Is this kind of pain or uncomfortable feeling normal after having this procedure so long ago?
