What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Vomiting?

hi I m forty year old woman, I have been having a lot of abdominal pain which started out as not to bad but for the last week its been a lot worse, last week id throw up maybe twice a day but yesterday it was every thirty minutes, I went to er and the dr. said it was a uti gave me iv antibotics and a prescription for antibotics, it hasn t helped I m still throwing up, ive had a uti before but it has never did me like this

Hello madam,
Welcome and thanks for posting your concern on HCM.
Progressively worsening Abdominal pain with vomiting has many causes including UTI.
I wouldblike to know if you had fever,dark urine or blood in urine,burning pain while urinating etc.
A definite diagnosis can be made only after seeing a Blood routine and Urine routine examination.
But your doctor has diagnosed it as a UTI(likely after a routine urine examination).If you were my patient and if you are diagnosed with UTI i would prescribe you antibiotics along with some antiemetic to stop vomiting and analgesic for your abdominal pain.
So my advise is to complete the antibiotic course, also take an over the counter antiemmetic and pain killer.It will take some time for the antibiotics to take effect so dont stop taking them.
