What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating Along With Burping?

I have been experiencing abdominal pain, gas, bloating, and burping, fro several days. My stools are thin. I take lamotragine and prozac for depression. I have had some stress lately, but I did not feel it was severe. Any ideas? Thank You Frank YYYY@YYYY

Hello,
Thanks for the concern. You had complaint of adominal pain, gas, bloating & burping as well as you are taking lamotrigine and prozac tablet for depression.
Tablet Lamotrigine and prozac has one of the side effect as bloating and abdominal upset.So it may be the reason for it. Or it may be due intestinal infection. For these complaints you should avoid heavy food like bread,oily food. you should take plenty of water and liquids. you should take more curd in your meals. Increase the number of meals in a day but should take in small amount.
You may take antibiotics like combination of ofloxacin and ornidazole. Also you can take combination of rabeprazole and levosulpride once daily at empty stomach in the morning which will help you in gas. Also start tablet unienzyme thrice daily for atleast 10 days this will regularize your bowel movements.
So immediately consult your physician and start treatment accordingly. Hope this might help you. Take care.
