Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have severe bloating, left side oain like access gas but no passing, cramping and burning discomfort. I has an ultrasound and results said I had a larger than normal spleen and some benign cysts but not sure what s causing the pain. I have IBS but this pain is new and persistent.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. By your history and description, possibility of gastritis and GERD is more likely. IBS patients are more prone for these. So take combination of antacid (pantoprazole) and prokinetic (levosulperide) twice daily on empty stomach. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Avoid hot, spicy and oily foods. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
