What Causes Abdominal Pain And Brown Stringy Discharge While On Contraceptive Implant?

Hi, I have had problems down below since having my son who is now 5yrs old. I find sex painful most of the time, often tear slightly as well. My urine has white floaty tissue like substances in it. I have an implant fitted however often wipe myself and have a dark brown stringy jelly like substance and also sometimes this will appear in my knickers throughout the day. I also sometimes getting really nasty shooting pains in my lower abdomen which sometimes goes round to my back. And now my urine has a bad smell. I have a doctors appointment Thursday but wondered if you knew what this could be? Thank you

Hi,

Bad odor in urine, abdominal pain, burning micturition can indicate urinary tract infection. Urine analysis along with urine culture and sensitivity should be taken. Empirical therapy with antibiotics can be taken before test results. Implants can cause brown discharge as side effect. Any displacement of implant or infection should be ruled out.
