What Causes Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea After A Hip Replacement Surgery?

I had my hip replaced on March 22. The hip is healing great, pain is controlled now with tylonal and sometimes I add TraMEDal. When I was sent home from the hospital I was still on narcodic pain meds but am off now. Also when I came home I was on a stool softner and Pesid besides ibprophen twice a day for a blood thinner. Because I was off the narcodic meds I stopped the Pesid. Then last week I started have adbonimal pain with diarrhea so I stopped the stool softner. The abdonimal pain and diarrhea continues to the point that I can t sleep. Should I start taking the Pesid again and change my pain meds?
