What Causes Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea After Eating?

Hi, My daughter just came back from a trip to Peru, and has been extremely ill for the last almost three days. She has extreme pain in her stomach when she eats anything and painful diarrhea about an hour after eating anything. Should she seek medical attention?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to gastroenteritis. I suggest using anti diarrhea medications such as Imodium. I also suggest using daily probiotics. I recommend to drink liquids and eat a plain diet.
