What Causes Abdominal Pain And Painful Urination?

My wife is a month pregnant old, she s having abdominal pain accompanied by burning urine, ultrasound revealed everything as normal including the uterus n ovaries, although we were adviced to re_do the ultrasound after 14weeks... what shld we do, plz adbice ,thanx

Hi,

Abdominal pain and burning micturition is suggestive of urinary tract infection. I prefer doing an urine culture and routine. You should start on nitrofurantoin, don't go for class D drugs as it is dangerous to the fetus.
