What Causes Abdominal Pain Around Sternum With Pale Stools?
I have upper abdominal pain around my sternum sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right and almost non stop nausea a white residue on my tongue but no heartburn although sometimes gas and bloating my stools also seem paler and foul smelling. I had an ultrasound of my abdomen and an endoscopy that showed a 2cm hiatus hernia. I have been put on omeprazole 20mg per day now upped to 40mg. Could there be another problem as well as the hiatus hernia as I have changed my diet raised the head of my bed and not rested for three hours after meals but still feeling very nauseous and suffering with the pains. Have had symptoms for about 12 weeks so far?
