Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing abdominal pain from near my belly button toward the right. It comes and goes. It is not painful to the touch, but is uncomfortable if I press on described area. At times I can feel corresponding pain in my back. No fever. Some constipation. Appetite irregular. Some nauseousess, again, on and off.
There are various possibilities. It can be: Appendix infection or renal stones. Both conditions can cause pain in the region and pain can radiate to back side. Whenever there is infection or inflammation any where in gut it leads to: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, fever, etc.
However in the absence of physical examination and other tests it is difficult to say precisely whether it is the case of: Appendicitis or renal calculus.
In renal stones there can be blood cells in urine, foul smell, difficulty in urination, burning sensations, etc. You may definitely need examination to arrive at a final diagnosis and then address it properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
Dentist
