What Causes Abdominal Pain, Back Pain And Irregular Period?

i'm 41 and my periods were only 3 days. last month it was 2 weeks early and it lasted 9 days and this month early again and lasted 9 days. It was more like spotting than a normal period. I do get abdominal pain when i am sitting for too long and lower back pain? Help!
