What Causes Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Weight Gain With Delayed Periods?
I have been having some wierd things happening to my body. About 2 months ago i discovered i had chalamydia and i treated it and everything. A couple weeks ago i started having really bad pain in my abdominal area and i have had bad cramps ever since. I gained weight, have been nauseous, and havent gotten my period so i thought i might be pregnant but i took a pregnancy test at home a couple days ago and it was negative so now im thinking it could be something else or maybe i have chlamydia again. Do you know what it could be or what i should do? Im only sixteen and im really scared.
Hi. These type of pains can be due to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or a Tubo-Ovarian tumors, Appendicitis , Salpingitis and so on. You need an internal per-vaginal examination and Ultrasonography of the abdomen as well as trans-vaginal. The treatment will depend upon the findings, It can be medical or surgical. If required, CT scan may be done to confirm and get treated accordingly.
