What Causes Abdominal Pain On The Left Side During Pregnancy?
Im rough around 16 weeks pregnant. I have been trying for medicade for 3 months now and i still haven t been accepted. I seen a er dr begining of January for a uri and when they checked the baby they said it was fine. But im having pains on my left side for hours now. I dont have insurance but should i go to er for this pain?
While mild abdominal cramps and dull pain are normal during pregnancy as the uterus makes space for the growing pain, severe pain lasting for hours is a cause of concern and should be immediately addressed.
I would advise you to get yourself checked by a gynaecologist as soon as possible who may also do a sonography to check the well being of the baby.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Nazma.amman,
