What Causes Abdominal Pain On The Right Side?

yes, please my 34 year old son has had pain on right side of stomach pain goes from stomach to side then towards back like on his kidneys. went to emergency but sent him home with muscle medication. took this muscle relaxer and he seemed to look like a zombie did not help him with the pain meaning pain is the same or worst now what can this be?

Hi,

This can be due to stones in gallbladder or stones in kidneys. Your son needs clinical examination and case history to rule out any possibility. Had it been minor issue pain must have subsided.

I suggest you visit the hospital and get him examined properly. He may need medication for some time or maybe some minor surgical procedure but that would be decided by tests like ultrasound.
