What Causes Abdominal Pain Towards Pelvic Area?

Hi there. I am a 27 year old male. I am experiencing lower left abdominal pain more towards the pelvic area. It started about 3 days ago and since then have not gotten better. The pain sometimes spread to my back as well. No vomiting only nauseas at times.
