What Causes Abdominal Pain While On Gabapentin?

I am on gabapentin due to probable ulna nerve damage . I have increased my dose with the doctors permission to 1200mg - I take 400mg 3x/day. I just started thiincreased does a coupe days ago and todayI have experienced intestinal pain- can this happen with gabapentin at this 1200 mg dosage - I did not have this when I was on a 600mg dosage.

gabapentin is an anti epileptic drug. it can be given for relieving pain.main side effect is doziness, ataxia fever andlethergy. for change of dose you have to consult treating doctor.
