What Causes Abdominal Pain While Suffering From An Ovarian Cyst?
i am 54 years old now and don t have a period anymore but about 30 years ago i became irregular with my periods, the last one was 4 years ago but i had been having periods like twice a year for a the last 5 years. 3 years ago they had found a cyst and i went to a gyno.... but she found nothing; today i feel some pain and wonder if i should be concern

It may be hormonal imbalance caused by Ovarian cysts are which are in most cases small and asymptomatic but sometimes may cause symptoms and require specific treatment. However, in cases or cysts larger than 5cm, bleeding cysts, torsion or rupture surgical treatment is required. Also, if there is polycystic syndrome as underlying cause then hormonal therapy is indicated. Pain is usually placed deep in pelvis on affected side and may be associated with nausea and fever.
