What Causes Abdominal Pain With Black Spots In Stool?

I keep having pain in my abdomen, I have had an inconclusive CT scan and the pain is generalized in the RUQ, I have had an inconclusive hydascan (? spelling), and still have this pain. I also suffer from a painful type of arthritis and take tylenol 3-4 g and naproxen 1 g daily I recently have been constipated and there have been some black spots on the stool. Is this anything to be concerned about? I have also had an elevated bilirubin at 2.1 for the last few months. I am scared that my gual bladder is not working properly or there is something wrong with my liver? Thanks for any help.

Hi.
The history of constipation with black spots in the stool and pain in the right upper quadrant are suggestive of a problem in the colon.
I would suggest you to undergo Colonoscopy and biopsy if required. This is necessary to see the bleeding point which may not be picked up by any scans .
CT scan and HIDA scan would have picked any problem with the Liver or gall Bladder.
The treatment will depend upon the findings of the Colonoscopy and biopsy.
