What Causes Abdominal Pain With Foul Urine?

hi, I am 43 and for a month my urine has had such a bad odor I can t stand going pee or letting anyone in the bathroom and I have terrible stomach pains. I have a mesh net in my stomach from a hernia and have been with the same man so its not vaginal otherwise I wouldn t have severe lower back pain.

Hi.

We will have to either way rule out causes like STDs, as it is part of protocol. But among other things a check on your kidney function using a blood sample, ultrasound KUB, vaginal swab, urine analysis, urine culture and sensitivity. A urinary tract infection is common with such a presentation, but a few other chronic conditions can also cause this so please do get all the recommended investigations to find the cause.
