What Causes Abdominal Pain With History Of Having Gall Bladder Surgery?

My Son who is 40 yrs. old has hurting in his side that has gone on for 3 years. He has had an mri, all kind of test but nothing shows up. He did have gall bladder surgery probably 3 years ago. I just wonder if it is something to do with the liver?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The MRI abdomen should have shown up a lesion in the liver if one was present.
It would have taken a look at the organs in the area to try and identify a cause.

Liver function blood tests would also take a look at the liver so he can have these done if they have not been done recently to make sure that there are no problems.

Pain can also be related to the soft tissue or bowel in the area as well.

I hope this heleps
