What Causes Abdominal Pain With Thirst & Frequent Urination?
For about 2 years I have had a huge bloated stomach and pain, had an ultra-sound and everything looked fine? Can only eat small amounts of food at a time and feel as if I ate an entire pizza. Have excessive thirst, frequent urination, some dry heaving, heart burn, and throw up in my mouth some times
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
If I were your doctor, I would advise you to avoid food from outside if you do to prevent any kind of intestinal infection creeping in. I would then advise you to get a stool test for ova and cyst and treat it if positive. In addition, a urine routine/microscopic/culture and sensitivity test would be needed to rule out a UTI which might be giving rise to your urinary symptoms. Till the reports are ready, I would prescribe you with a proton pump inhibitor along with a probiotic for a symptomatic relief.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.

the problem could be with pancreas or the stomach; however, not much to worry about this!
please mention your blood sugar level and get a routine urine examination
in worse case you may have to do an upper GI endoscopy
all the best!
