What Causes Abdominal Pressure When With A Previous History Of Ovarian Cysts?

Hello I am a 31 year old female experiencing extreme discomfort and pain in my lower abdomen. I have a history of Ovarian Cysts, and am curious what could be causing the pain/pressure in my abdomen. It feels like my Uterus is falling out of my vagina. Please help, this is not a joke.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Severe pain in the lower abdomen or pelvis region can be related to different possible causes such as : (A) infection eg urinary tract infection or PID (pelvic inflammatory disease- infection of areas of the genital tract
Urinary tract infections would normally be associated with urinary symptoms such as frequency or urgency

(B)endometriosis

(C)infection, bleeding or inflammation of the ovarian cysts

(D)fibroids

(E)endometriosis

You may need repeat imaging of the abdomen and/or pelvis via ultrasound to find the cause of the pain if it persists.

I hope this helps
