What Causes Abnormal Bloating And Swollen Breasts Despite Having Endometriosis?

Hi, I had a ultrasound yesterday and ? Polyps were seen. I have been having some discharge but no bleeding. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago for severe endometriosis and fibroid, still have my ovaries. The cervix was also removed. Doctor was testing me for menopause as I have been gaining weight ie abnormal bloating and swollen breasts all the time. Bloods were normal but they didn t check my estrogen for some reason. Your advice on what to do now would be appreciated. I am 39 years old. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Where were the polyps seen? With the current information at hand, surgery to remove the ovaries would be considered if there is something wrong with them.

If not, then hormonal correction would be the right way forward with HRT (hormone replacement therapy).

Best wishes.
