Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 3 month old grandson. He sometimes cuts his eyes to the side. To me, Grammy, he is just being charming and cute. He can look straight ahead and seems to track movements with both eyes. The eyes do move together. I m wondering if cutting his eyes ,as if to look at something out of the corner of his eye, is normal. I don t remember my children doing that. Thank you, Kelly
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Any abnormalities in eye movements form by the age of 3 months. So keep on observing the child, if you find abnormal eye movement persistent. You should take it to an ophthalmologist for specific management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
