What Causes Abnormal Mass Found In Pelvic Area?

Just recvd scan results, mass was found in pelvic area between bladder and kidney, told I need a biopsy. can you please tell me what type of biopsy I will be having and what procedure it will be? Have had prostate removed for cancer and have just started hormone therapy. Thank you, angelo

Biopsy is a procedure wherein a piece of tissue is taken from the mass for histopathological examination for diagnosis. Further management will depend on characterization of lesion after histopathological examination.
