What Causes Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding Post Intercourse?
Me and my boyfriend of two years had sex for the first time on may 1st... on may 6th i had my period. it was a regular period. I don t normally get my period but every other month, so that one came on time. But about two weeks ago, on the 11th of June I got my period, which is irregular. I got off about a week later. Then on Monday, I had a little bit of blood, like the smallest bit and only one time when i went to the rest room. Tuesday I didn t see any blood. Then today I had a little bit of blood again. Do you think it s possible that I m about to start again or pregnant or what?
There are quite a lot of possibilities on this. If intercourse was without any contraception, pregnancy is quite possible regardless of irregular periods. This is an indication to see an OBGYN for counseling on birth control in any case. At a young age periods often are variable. Intercourse sometimes can change it--sometimes from emotional distress. Local irritation or STD could also cause vaginal bleeding.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
