What Causes Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding Post Surgical Abortion?

I HAD A SURGICAL ABORTION TWO MONTHS AGO. HAVE HAD A REGULAR PERIOD AND NOW AM BLEEDING BUT IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE NORMAL PERIOD BLOOD. NO LARGE CLOTS BUT IT HAS NOT STOPPED BEEN ALMOST A WEEK NOW. SHOULD I BE CONCERNED? MY DOCTOR IS ON HOLIDAYS AT THE MOMENT
