What Causes Abnormal Sensation In Genitals?

Hello, I am a male age 26. I am writing due to an odd sensation in the genitila. Kind of a mix between arousal and the need to urinate. This sensation is unnoticeable during the day, but at night when I m laying down for sleep it comes about. I am married and have not tried to corralate it to sex. Just keeping me up at the moment. Also it is not a daily/nightly occurrence. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I would describe it as a tickling sensation just enough to keep me awake at night. PS I m in the military and subject to STD tests on a regular basis.

- Tingling sensation of the tip of penis can be due to trauma, contact dermatitis, or trauma.
- If you will have burning sensation during urination, consult with an urologist.
- If I was your doctor I would prescribe Dermacort hydrocortisone cream for topical use.
- Also keep the genital area clean and wear cotton underwears.
